Overview
The Panorama Central is located directly in the historical center of Budapest, less than a 5 minute walk from famous Vaci street, Andrassy Avenue, the Hungarian National Museum, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Dohany Synagogue (Europe’s largest). Located in a 19th century building, the space is brand new, having opened in the summer of 2009, and today delivers the height of comfort in classical surroundings. Visitors cannot find a more central location with all major transportation hubs only a few minutes walk away. The rooms combine famous Hungarian hospitality, modern facilities, a central location and affordable prices making it the perfect choice for both tourists and business travelers coming to Budapest.
Directions
We are quite easy to find. First go to our address: Károly Körút 10. For arrivals coming after dark or on the weekends, the main gate will be closed, but you can be buzzed in by using the intercom system by the gate. Walk into the building and you will see an elevator straight in front of you. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor – number “3”. Exit the elevator and turn right and you will be at our entrance.

The accommodations consist of comfortable and elegant standard, non-smoking double rooms and deluxe rooms which are large enough to accommodate an extra bed for families if necessary. Every room is equipped with satellite television, free high speed Internet access, telephone, air conditioning and of course a bathroom with shower. A continental breakfast is included in the room price. The deluxe rooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi with hydro massage – perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city. All rooms are decorated in light colors and have tasteful artwork hanging on the walls.
Many of the rooms look out onto the Karoly Boulevard – one of Hungary’s most historic streets. The rooms all have high ceilings with ceiling moldings and chandeliers and are painted in light colors giving our visitors a nice sense of space and light. Each room is also fully sound proofed, allowing for a relaxing time away from the noise and bustle of the city.

The accommodations are located directly in the heart of the historical city center, within walking distance of the city’s administrative, business and cultural districts as well as the famous shopping area of Váci Street. We also are right next door to the majority of Budapest’s main cultural attractions; the Hungarian National Museum, the Dohany Synagogue (Europe’s largest) and St. Stephen’s Basilica – Budapest’s most famous Cathedral. Andrassy Avenue Budapest’s most elegant street is also only a 5 minute walk from our location. Of special interest and a must see attraction, Budapest’s most famous and grand spa center the Szechenyi Baths are only a 10 minute metro ride away. Ask at reception about how to get there. We are situated only a 1 minute walk from the Astoria metro station on the M2 Redline. The Panorama Central is also only a 5 minute walk from both the Deák tér and Kálvin tér stations, both on the M3 Blueline.
